Internship: Research on Alternative Ingredients in Hair Color Formulation

(6 months; September)

Our Global Innovation & Research team is looking for a motivated intern to investigate alternative ingredients for permanent oxidative hair color formulations. This internship provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects focused on improving product performance and consumer experience within professional hair coloring products.

Objectives

• Analyze patents, and scientific literature to identify leads for alternative ingredients.

• Develop and evaluate hair color formulations containing alternative ingredients.

• Investigate the impact of ingredients on formulation properties such as stability, sensory profile, and application behavior.

• Conduct laboratory experiments and evaluate performance using practical and instrumental testing methods.

• Analyze and report results.

YOU

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or a related field.

• Strong interest in formulation development and research within the cosmetic or hair care industry.

• Hands-on laboratory mindset with analytical thinking skills.

• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic research environment.

• Available to start in September.

• Eligible to work in the Netherlands

• Strong English skills (spoken and written)
